THIS COUNTRY IS ZOMBIE HEAVEN

We already looked at the relative zombie safety of each US State (see: Kelly Zombie Survival Scale).  Now ZRS supporter, Brian Chung, wants to know which countries ranked lowest globally in the case of a catasrophic undead pandemic.  Bart Keller is currently compiling data that will list each city, country and continent in order of survivability, but his initial findings clearly point to two countries that are likely doomed.

With 1.35 billion people living on 3.7 million square miles of land, China has a population density lower than that of Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and New Jersey.  However, its paltry gun ownership rate of just 3.5% means that the People’s Republic has a fraction of the number of armed citizens residing in the United States.  For that reason, China ranks second worst in zombie survivability.

But another country is even worse off, Keller explains:

“India is the ideal zombie breeding ground, no question.  It packs in 944 people per square mile.  And of a total population of 1.2 billion, only 4% own firearms.  That’s a whole lot of zombies that will need to be fought off with shovels and sticks.”

So the next time you’re planning a vacation overseas, you might want to consider which countries you wouldn’t like to be stuck in should a zombie outbreak hit.  That culturally enlightening trip to Mumbai just might get you eaten by 10,000 raving zombie street children, before you can even say, “Slumdog Millionaire!”.
