Veronica Lake (1922 – 1973) was an American actress and model known for her femme fatale roles in the noir films of the 1940s. Commenting on her success as a pinup girl, Lake once famously said, “I wasn’t a sex symbol, I was a sex zombie.” Not exactly sure what that means, but we love the quote nonetheless.
Rowr! I’m normally lined up against physical relations with zombies, but if Ms. Lake is a typical specimen I might have to reposition my opinion.
